It is an inbuilt function inside your Facebook profile settings that will let you display your nickname, maiden name, alternate spelling, married name, father's name, birth name, farmer name, name with title and other. How to Put Maiden Name or Nickname in Bracket near Your Name in Facebook
- Go to your Facebook timeline, hover your mouse cursor on your name, and click on pencil icon. Or navigate to "About" -> "Details about You".
- Now, click on "+ Add a nickname, a birth name...". Type your name in the desire field, and make a tick on "Show at top of profile", if you want to show your nickname near your name under bracket. Finally click on save changes.
If you don't tick on "Show at top of profile", then it will now show up near to your Facebook name under bracket, instead it will show up into your about section. - Choosing other name has some limitations that Facebook don't allow. If you are using the existing name as your nickname, it will not display in your timeline even you have ticked on "Show at top of profile".
- Once you have done all the steps correctly. You will see your nickname or maiden name near your existing name in the bracket on your Facebook profile.
